Lesson 24. A long run.
Grammar: a/an and the.
2. Last night we went to see a musical at the Queen's Theatre in town. We had the most expensive seats in the theatre. We were really near the stage and we could see all the actors really well. One groupe sat on chairs and played a game of cards. The best moment was when the singer sang the final song. The audience clapped and clapped.
3. This morning an apple and a banana for lunch. I ate the apple but I didn't eat a banana.
Have you got a car? No, I haven't got a car but I've got a bicycle.
We went out for (the) a meal on Saturday. The restaurant was really good and (a) the food was excelent. I had the best fish I've ever eaten.
They live in a (the) house in the country. There is a beatiful garden behind the house and a the big veranda ar the front.
